Mother’s Day carries many stories.

For some it is joyful. For others it brings grief, longing, or complexity. Rooted & Held is a half-day Christian gathering created to honour the full spectrum of experience.

This independent event welcomes individuals from across church traditions (and not!) who desire both spiritual depth and practical growth. It is a space to be ministered to — and to be strengthened in how you minister to others.

Throughout the morning we will worship, pray, and reflect on God’s nurturing character. We will explore pastoral presence in everyday life, learning practical skills in attentive listening, speaking blessing, and cultivating emotional steadiness as part of spiritual maturity.
